I believe in the power of showing up and providing genuine support in a positive, non judgmental, and comfortable environment. Regardless of what you may be suffering from (anxiety, depression, family issues, coming out, a life change, breakup, a gender or sexual identity transition) we can start the process of healing and problem solving through therapy.

 

Taking the first step to engage in therapy isn't easy, but it is brave and will be worth it. I offer a range of clinical services to adults of all ages, youth, children, and couples or romantic partnerships.

I also have an active teletherapy practice and can schedule video sessions in MD, VA, and DC.

I strive to provide a culturally sensitive and inclusive space, offering services for youth who are struggling in different areas of their lives.  I use evidence-based interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and person-centered approaches such as play and art to address personal, family or school stressors, challenges with trauma or loss, ADHD symptoms, anger management, depression or anxiety.   

I work with youth ages 6-17 and their families. I strive to offer both you and your child a space to feel heard and validated, while empowering you with effective tools to better manage the challenges you may be experiencing.

COLIN BLAIR, LMSW

I've worked in human services for over fourteen years, and my treatment approach is engaged and collaborative. I am experienced in Cognitive Behavioral Therapies (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Narrative Therapy, and Psychodynamic techniques.

 

Therapy is about healing and recovery, about rediscovering meaning and finding purpose. My mission is to create a compassionate, supportive, and non-judgmental space. I work with you to develop specific skills that will apply to your unique background and personality, and will have concrete value in your life. My practice is trauma-informed, anti-racist, and LGBTQIA affirming.

I am able to meet you and your family wherever you are.


I work with all unique family models and their children ages 0-10.  Parenting is challenging, and not something you have to face alone. I am here to partner with you to understand the unique needs of your child, while providing effective tools and resources to support the process.

I believe this place needs to provide encouragement, feedback, and tools to help each person become empowered to further their personal development and healing.  The core of my practice focuses on helping those who've been impacted by multiple losses, broken relationships, violent life events, unstable home lives, systemic oppression, or interpersonal violence. I also provide clinical services for secondary trauma, vicarious trauma and/or compassion fatigue.  

I work with teens (16 years and older) and adults. While you know yourself better than anyone, your experience gives you the courage to embrace new change. I look forward to supporting you on your journey.
